Marián Muíños traduce a Victor Hugo Tissera

NO VOICE, NO WORDS

Maybe a certain light
-intertwined in your gaze skin-
is the echo of a certain god
with no voice and no words
who writes a poem for you.

Maybe a certain tremor
-held in the mature tear-
is the subtle ecstasy that ennobles you
and raises your honor like a dawn.
Maybe a certain force
-camouflaged in the summer lips-
creeps up your hands flowers
and sows itself sprinkled over your breasts.
Maybe a certain landscape
-detained in the longing of your eyes-
is all you have to give to me,
like a light impact from the shadows
until it satisfies the watchfulness of my hours.
Maybe this time
brief time, brief life
moves us, involves us…
And it is just enough.

SIN VOZ Y SIN PALABRA

Acaso alguna luz
enredada en la piel de tu mirada,
sea el eco de algún dios
sin voz y sin palabra
que te escriba un poema.
Acaso algún temblor
sostenido en la lágrima madura
sea el éxtasis sutil que te ennoblece
y levanta tu sitial como una aurora.
Acaso alguna fuerza
camuflada en los labios del verano
suba por la flores de tus manos
y se siembre tendida entre tus senos.
Acaso algún paisaje
detenido en la nostalgia de los ojos
sea todo lo que tengas para darme
como impacto de luz desde las sombras
hasta saciar la vigilia de mis horas.
Acaso este tiempo
breve tiempo y breve vida
nos conmueva, nos importe,
y nos alcance.

IT IS POSSIBLE

Its flight could not be stood:
then
It was smashed up
between the heavy pages of a book.

But
the Butterfly could read.

VIOLETS ON MY BODY

When caresses fade away
my abyss wakes up.
In an obstinate duel,
signals let return
that daring radiation.

When caresses fade away
the wind wears full rings under its eyes.
And the violets on my body

yell.

VIOLETAS EN MI CUERPO

Cuando declinan las caricias
despiertan mis abismos
En un duelo obstinado
regresan las señales
esa irradiación atrevida

Cuando declinan las caricias
el viento se llena de ojeras
y aúllan
las violetas en mi cuerpo

BALLERINA

On the pine wood cupboard,
in her reddish satin case
plated in chiselled silver.
Two initials and an arrow of rubies
like a full dress broach.
Inside, there lies the drowsy ballerina:
humidity, resembling
spilled tears.
Relegated by the fight
of a star-crossed union.
In your dreams you still taste
the once welcomed happiness

of moments without return.
Your cord was broken
Your heart was drilled
when years of passion became splinters.

Bailarina

Sobre el modular de pino,
en su estuche de raso bermejo

bañado de
plata cincelada.
Dos iniciales y una flecha de rubíes
como broche de gala.
Dentro, yace la bailarina
aletargada,
la humedad, se asemeja
a lágrimas vertidas.
Relegada
por la contienda
de una unión malograda.
En tus sueños saboreas
la dicha
percibida.
de
instantes sin regreso.
Rompieron tu cuerda
perforaron tu corazón.
al hacer
añicos años de pasión.

Dark Poem X

He betrayed the purest essence of both of us
and pressed the heart
until it became a deformed mass.
Sometime later

he knocked down stoned to death
the links
which had chained-freed him to me
and he descended to the freezing hell.

Poema Oscuro X

Traicionó lo más puro de los dos
y presionó el corazón hasta
volverlo masa deforme.
Para luego/en otro tiempo
derribar ......
lapidar
los eslabones
que a mi lo encadenaban-liberaban
y descendió al gélido infierno.

LOOK AT THE MOON…

Look at the moon, Dad,
you told me
just when the evening
waved goodbye at twilight…
And your eyes, and your whole face,
your musical little heart,
caressed – enraptured-
that so far away beauty…
However, you came back
and firmly stated:
“It is a bird that flew away…”

MIRÁ LA LUNA

Mirá la luna, papá,
me dijiste
justo cuando la tarde
comenzaba a despedirse…
Y tus ojos, y tu rostro todo,
tu corazoncito musiquero,
acariciaron, embelesados,
esa belleza tan distante…
Sin embargo, regresaste
y me afirmaste:
Es un pájaro que voló…

COMING BACK FOR MY WINGS

"Yo vuelvo
por mis alas.
¡Dejádme volver!...
Federico García Lorca

Once and again,
obsessively,
like a dragonfly
deprived of its wings,
I come back for them in each poem
in every verse
in each and every word...
and, yet,
I fail to find them.

Vuelvo por mis alas

"Yo vuelvo
por mis alas.
¡Dejádme volver!...
Federico García Lorca

Una y otra vez,
obsesivamente,
como una libélula
despojada de sus alas,
vuelvo por ellas en cada poema,
en cada verso,
en cada palabra...
y aún
no las encuentro.

GEDEON´S KNIGHTS

......Sera comblé
......Celui pour qui l'espace
......Ne sera pas dehors.
.............Guillevic

The future belongs to cloud eaters,
as poetry belongs to fire thieves,
since they are the carriers of the iris´sweetest instant
in the torches of the wildest desire
-sleepers in the valley of no back shot.
Their cheeks furrowed with decisive flashes
look like the intermittent winks of a fluent rose
and the eloquent bubbles enlighten
the nights of furtive lovers.
Willingly tiding the solitude of insatiable bodies,
ever leaving no slow complaint
to the skinned surface of the vacuum.
It could be said that they are the dear grandsons
of the hidden face of the round moon,
who open to us –tender and deceitful-
their silver arms at the first faint.

LOS CABALLEROS DE GEDEON

......Sera comblé
......Celui pour qui l'espace

......Ne sera pas dehors.
...............Guillevic

MAGMA ESSENCE

In the coldness of a naked night
I breastfeed monosyllabic solitudes.
I bite my body´s paranoid flesh
with the uncontrolled nails of my fury,
turned into a woman.
Bottom untouched, I devour the insomniac masks
of my ardent shadow, parted in halves.
Like a prohibited fruit, I unravel sexes with no sex,
purifying the salivary desire
which kneels without pretext on non-longing potions.
Grazing my magma essence,
I urge Eros –immortal fire bird-
to discover my human geography´s darkened profile,
all alone, undressed
by the invisible hands of the furtive shades.

ESENCIA MAGMATICA

desvestida a solas
por las invisibles manos de las furtivas sombras.

OMEN

Vortexes, biting my wounds...
Secret thresholds, crossing over me...
Scattered crystals disseminating
themselves into difuminated faces.

A charm which predicts...
A stone carved on fine rock...
The celebrated contour of the image
at the promise of praying souls,
on behalf of the shaken hallucinated ones.

Its omen, hanging over our sky
-notwithstanding my cloudy beggar eyes-
Everything collapses and starts again
-in spite of the dreams-
into overlapping tears of time.

My steps stray you away from the path.
The lips sing for your missing song.

PRESAGIO

y estremecidos.

Desde el cielo, nos cierne su presagio,
aunque mis ojos, se nublen o supliquen.
Todo se desbarata, vuelve a comenzar.
Sin importar si tienen aún, sueños.
Como retazos de tiempos encimados.

Mis pasos te pierden del camino.
Los labios cantan, por tu canción perdida.
